ENGAGING MANAGERS IN THE HIRING PROCESS

October 15, 2010
8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Partnership for Public Service

Do you have a strategy for how you are engaging your managers in the hiring process?

The Partnership for Public Service, with the support of the Office of Personnel Management, invites you to attend the second of three interactive sessions designed to help you succeed in your hiring reform efforts.

During this session, we will tackle the tough issues of how to productively involve hiring managers, communicate the value of participating to managers, and how to make the change stick.  You will also have the opportunity to learn and share successful strategies for how to effectively engage managers and institutionalize their involvement in the hiring process.  Practical tips and resources that can be brought back to your agency for immediate use will be shared during the session.

Who:  Hiring Reform Leads and Points of Contact (as designated to OPM)
